The Finance Department is available to answer questions concerning the City's budget and other City financially-related matters. The Purchasing Division of the Finance Department is located at the City's Public Services Complex 9th Ave. NE.
Collections - (828) 323-7424
The Collections Division of the Finance Department is located on the second floor of City Hall. The Collections Division is available to receive payments for water and sewer bills, building permits, business licenses, leasing downtown parking spaces, and dumpsters and all other revenue collected by the City. The staff in Collections can answer questions relating to water and sewer taps, meter reading, bill inquiries and customer service. There is a drive-up window located beside City Hall open from 9:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., and 2:00 p.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday for convenience in paying water and sewer bills.Online Utility Bill Payment System
