When you log on to http://www.ncjoblink.com/, you will see a link to JobLink Job Search Tool. Click on that and you will get a screen that asks for job qualifications, job title, city, and how far you want the program to search. Staff who have worked with the program suggest that you will have better results if you complete the job qualifications / skills section and leave the job title blank. Next, type in the name of a city and how many miles you want it to search outside the city.

 

Remember, this program is only up and running in the western part of the state, but it will search a 75 mile radius from the most distant point. Counties included at this point are Alexander, Burke, Caldwell, Catawba, Cleveland, McDowell, Polk, Rutherford, Alleghany, Ashe, Avery, Mitchell, Watauga, Wilkes, Yancey, Anson, Cabarrus, Iredell, Lincoln, Rockingham, Rowan, Stanly, Union, Davie, Forsyth, Stokes, Surry and Yadkin Counties.
