The victim who is from Conover left work at Bears Lair at Lenoir Rhyne University around 0035 hrs. on 11/04/09.When she entered her vehicle, a black male was hiding inside, pulled a handgun and demanded she drive him to Cherryville.At some point, Muniz was able to use her cell phone to make contact with a brother in Virginia, who in turn contacted her father in Conover.Her father contacted HPD and reported the incident around 0123 hrs.Once in Cherryville, the suspect had a subject waiting for him in a red pickup truck and he exited the victim's vehicle and got into the pickup and left the area.The victim was not injured.

REWARD On April 5, 2007 at 2:36 a.m. Hickory Fire Department was called to a structure fire at 1100 21st Avenue NE, a construction site consisting of one (1) completed set of condominiums and one (1) structure under roof. Upon arrival both structures were engulfed in flames. After further investigation by Hickory Police Department and Hickory Fire Investigator, it was determined that unknown subject (s) set the fire.
