The Boyd Family Local History/Genealogy Room offers a variety of resources to the local history and genealogy researcher, including journals of genealogy societies.Newspaper clippings offer a source of local history that is sometimes not available elsewhere. The Boyd Family Room has a large file of clippings pertaining to Hickory, Catawba County, and North Carolina.
