Information Technology - E-mail System Upgrades

We utilize an e-mail firewall appliance to "cleanse" our messages prior to delivery to our Exchange system. Incoming and outgoing messages are checked for viruses and spam. Incoming attachments are restricted and blocked. About 70% of all incoming mail gets stopped at this device.

We installed 2 HP Proliant servers running in a clustered environment for protection and redundancy. The 2 servers each are tied into a controller on the MSA500 storage array. This configuration makes our data available no matter which server is acting as the primary.

Microsoft Exchange Cluster running on HP Proliant servers and the Information Store residing on a HP MSA500 storage array. The blue appliance above the servers is the Borderware MXtreme Mail Firewall.
