Information Technology - HTE Application System Upgrades
We upgraded our application software to version 4.0.
We installed the HTE DMS module (Document Management System) that should help us in several areas. So far, we have an immediate need in Fire Prevention (format/print Permits), Collections (format/print Business Privilege Licenses) and Accounting (laser printed checks).
We have the HTE Click-2-Gov module for Utility Payments and the upgrade to 4.0 will allow us to implement the lock-box application to accept e-checks or electronic fund transfers via the website. This can be used by residents to pay their water/sewer bill online on a 24/7 availability.
