Information Technology - City Hall Cabling

One of our projects was to upgrade the network infrastructure to accomodate the increased dependence on e-mail, file servers and the Internet. We upgraded the cabling in City Hall to CAT 6 compliant cable, manufactured by Hickory headquartered CommScope. We upgraded and/or replaced our electronics and have improved network bandwidth from 10/100Mbps with some shared, to 100/1000Mbps with all switched.
