The Library is a department of the City of
Hickory, NC, and as such, is governed by the City Council. However, our
Advisory Board is appointed by the City Council to serve as the citizen's voice
with the Library Administration and City Council.
The Library Advisory Board meets on the second
Thursday of even-numbered months in the Patrick Beaver Memorial Library meeting
room. Beginning at 4:15 pm, these meetings are open to the public.
