The Hickory Public Library's
Ridgeview Branch opened to the public June 20, 1998.
The Ridgeview Branch Library has
an exciting exterior.

Let's go in, shall we?

As you enter the front door, the
meeting room is on the left, restrooms are on the right, and the desk is
straight ahead.

The circulation desk is
conveniently located to serve those entering the building, as well as those
customers who need help with computers or locating material.

Books are available on
accessible, well-lit shelving.

There's seating for everyone -
even the smallest children.

Lounge seating is also
available.

Computers are available for
adults - providing word processing, Internet access, and access to NCLive.

Computers are also available for
children, providing "edutainment" as well as access to information.

And thanks to Smart Start, even
the preschoolers have computer power available.

The meeting room is spacious and
airy, providing a delightful space for story time as well as adult programming
and community meetings.

And the staff has a spacious
workroom to take care of other duties.

We hope you enjoyed your tour of
Ridgeview. Drop by soon and see the real thing!
And now, would you like to
