Behind the Scenes at Patrick Beaver

There are many tasks that must be handled behind the scenes to make a library function properly.  For example, in Technical Services, our staff work to get new materials on the floor rapidly and correctly.  Technical Services staff also ensure that computer functions are working properly.

Our network coordinator tackles all the sticky issues of technology with a smile.

Circulation and Children's staff work hard to get all materials back on the shelves in a timely manner.

Circulation and Children's staff also have to check the shelves daily for overdue material that may have mistakenly been shelved without being checked in, and then mail out notices to all those customers whose materials are overdue.
