Friends of Hickory Public Library Resume Monthly Book Sale

The Friends of Hickory Public Library will hold their first “4 th Saturday Book Sale” on Saturday, January 27 th from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at Patrick Beaver Memorial Library. A wide selection of hard cover and paperback books are available. These monthly sales will continue on the 4 th Saturday of each month through June. The library is located at 375 3 rd Street NE on the SALT Block.

The books offered for sale have been donated by area residents or removed from the library’s collection. Prices are as follows: hard covers $1.00 or $2.00 depending on condition, paperbacks $.50, children’s books $.50 to $2.00, romance novels five for $1.00. Some books on tape, cassettes and videos may also be available. Proceeds from the sale benefit the Friends’ organizations at Patrick Beaver Memorial and Ridgeview Branch Libraries.
