Conversational Spanish Class Offered at Hickory Public Library

Hickory Public Library and Catawba Valley Community College are offering Beginning Conversational Spanish at Patrick Beaver Memorial Library. You will be introduced to expressions and vocabulary for basic conversation, focusing on travel and food for travelers. The class will be held on Monday nights from 6:30 – 8:30 p.m. from January 22 nd to March 12 th. There is a $60 class fee and a textbook fee of $21.07. Pre-registration is required.

The library has a variety of Spanish and bi-lingual materials to use outside of classes. Materials include books, videos, audiotapes, flashcards and kits. The library also carries Spanish language newspapers and magazines.
