Children’s Concert Scheduled at Hickory Public Library

Young children are invited to a “Rug Concert” at Ridgeview Branch Library on Monday, April 2 nd at 10:00 a.m. The Degas String Quartet returns to Hickory to perform their special music just for small children. Individuals and groups are invited to attend the free concert.

The “Rug Concert” is a special program that introduces young children to classical music and instruments. The performances always include audience participation. Members of the quartet include Simon Ertz, Viola; Philip von Maltzahn, cello; and two guest violinists.
