Learn About Microsoft Movie Maker at Hickory Public Library Now that you have your digital photos and video clips, would you like to learn how to turn those into movies? Sign up for the free workshop at Hickory Public Library and you can learn all about it. “How to Make Real Movies with Microsoft Movie Maker” is scheduled for Thursday, May 24 th from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. The class will be held at Patrick Beaver Memorial Library, located at 375 3 rd Street NE on the SALT Block. During the class, participants will learn to assemble video clips and digital pictures into DVD movies. Other topics include adding video covers, background music, text and transition effects to movie presentations. Information covered during the class is applicable to both business and personal movie production. Ronald Dees, a Microsoft Certified Specialist, will teach the class. He has provided corporate training for numerous businesses and is course developer and educator at Catawba Valley Community College and Western Piedmont Community College.
