Magic and Comedy Featured in Library Program Magician and comedian Bill Grimsley will entertain children of all ages at Hickory Public Library on Tuesday, June 19 th. Unlock the secrets of the library, explore the magic in books, and see the award winning magic, juggling and hilarious comedy in this audience participation filled performance. The free shows are at 10:30 a.m. at Ridgeview Recreation Center and at 2:30 p.m. at Patrick Beaver Memorial Library. Grimsley is a native of Asheville and a graduate of Guilford College in Greensboro with a BA in Communications and Television Production. He has won six awards for his close-up and stage performances. He is a member of the International Brotherhood of Magicians. As a full-time professional entertainer since 1986 he has performed in Australia, New Zealand, Fiji, Brazil, China, Hong Kong, Germany and throughout the United States. Ridgeview Recreation Center is at 115 7 th Avenue SW, next to Ridgeview Branch Library and Patrick Beaver Memorial Library is located at 375 3 rd Street NE on the SALT Block.
