Information for Newcomers Elementary and Secondary Schools
"Newcomers of Catawba Valley" meets the second Monday at each month (September through May) in the Althouse Room of Corinth Reformed United Church of Christ on 16th Avenue NW in Hickory. Meeting time is 9:30 am. "Newcomers of Catawba Valley is a not-for-profit membership organization. Our mission is to welcome newcomers to Catawba Valley by introducing them to others and giving them the opportunity to begin a new social life in our community.
We hold monthly General Meetings and provide numerous social events throughout the month. We participate in a variety of charitable events within the community. It's a great way to get involved and meet new people."
