Hickory Police

Baker PACT is under the command of Lt. Bobby Grace and supervised by Sgt. Greg Shook and Sgt. Robert George. Baker PACT encompasses most of the northeast section of Hickory. This area is the most diverse area of the city featuring residential neighborhoods, commercial and industrial businesses, Lenoir Rhyne College, and Hickory High School.

"As Commander of Baker PACT, the two greatest assets that are available to me are the officers working within the PACT and our two neighborhood associations" said Lt. Grace. "The Claremont and Highland neighborhood associations within our PACT work closely with the officers in problem solving policing which is a staple of community based policing."

Lt. Bobby Grace has been with HPD since 1991. He has an AAS degree in Criminal Justice and is completing his BS degree in Criminal Justice. He has served in several HPD assignments including DARE instructor, marine and bicycle officer, supervisor of the Vice and Narcotics unit and supervisor of Career Development.
