7/17/2007 - NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING ON REQUEST FOR VOLUNTARY ANNEXATION PURSUANT TO NORTH CAROLINA GENERAL STATUTES 160A-31 AND/OR 160A-58.1, AS AMENDED

8/07/2007 - A public hearing will be held by the Hickory City Council on August 7, 2007, at 7:00 p.m. in the Council Chambers of the Julian G. Whitener Municipal Building, 76 North Center Street, Hickory, North Carolina.  The City of Hickory, proposes to convey property located in Downtown Hickory, known as the “Hickory Station” for economic development pursuant to North Carolina General Statute § 158-7.1.

8/21/2007 - A public hearing will be held by the Hickory City Council on August 21, 2007, at 7:00 p.m. in the Council Chambers of the Julian G. Whitener Municipal Building, 76 North Center Street, Hickory, North Carolina, regarding the proposed amendment to the City of Hickory Sewer Use Ordinance as mandated by Federal and State regulations for municipalities with industrial waste flow.

8/21/2007 - A public hearing will be held by the Hickory City Council on August 21, 2007, at 7:00 p.m. in the Council Chambers of the Julian G. Whitener Municipal Building, 76 North Center Street, Hickory, North Carolina, regarding the proposed amendment to Chapter 17, Article II Massage Establishments of the Hickory City Code, providing for substantial amendment to the City’s policies and licensing procedures. Draft copies of the proposed ordinance amendment are available for public inspection in the Office of City Manager.
