Public Information Office
The Public Information Officer develops and manages the public relations program for the City of Hickory, as well as distributes educational information to the public through news releases, newsletters, and other forms of printed and electronic media. The PIO also keeps citizens informed of programs, activities, accomplishments, and upcoming issues. The office of the PIO is located on the 3rd floor of City Hall.
