Street Division
Street Division – (smiller@ci.hickory.nc.us) This division is responsible for curb and gutter installation, driveway entrances construction, pothole repair, and street maintenance (sweeping and cleaning). This division also handles snow removal, storm drain repairs, and mowing of overgrown lots. Each year the City Council adopts a paving list that identifies all streets to be paved/resurfaced in the upcoming fiscal year. The Street Division assists Engineering in preparation of the list and executes work as directed by Council.
