This division is responsible for traffic signals, traffic markings, and street signs. All traffic signals within City limits are maintained by this division for the North Carolina Department of Transportation (NCDOT). While the Traffic division authorizes the placement of streetlight, the installation and maintenance of streetlights throughout the city is the responsibility of Duke Power. Contact Duke Power at 323-8400 if a streetlight in your neigborhood is out or damaged.
